This painting mirrors how we navigate life itself. Our journeys are rarely linear; they are shaped by peaks and troughs, moments of intensity softened by pause and illusions that test our direction before dissolving into understanding. Each rise enhances the depth of the fall, and each challenge sharpens our awareness of joy, resilience, and meaning.
Part of the Nirvana series, this work reflects the quiet understanding that light and shadow coexist and that true balance, presence, and growth emerge when we learn to navigate both with acceptance.
I was mesmerised by the colour and shading, adding to its depth. I was obsessing throughout the 50+ hours spent on creating it but loving every moment of it.
